The GStreamer team is pleased to announce the first pre-release of the
GStreamer RTSP Server library 1.1.90. This will in the next days lead to
the stable 1.2.0 release, which will be the first stable release for the
GStreamer 1.x release series.

Starting with this release the API and ABI of the library is considered
stable and the GStreamer versioning scheme will be used. There will be
1.2.x bugfix releases and the next release containing new features will
be 1.4.0.

Binaries for Android, iOS, OS X and Windows will be provided after the
1.2.0 release and will be included in the GStreamer binary releases for
these platforms.
