You can try grub_printf instead of grub_dprintf.

Subject: How to debug GRUB2 if my grub_dprintf is not working ?

I am facing issue in my server which is hanging up everytime on grub shell.
And I am trying to debug this grub2 issue by adding grub_dprintf.
But those printf statements whatever I added are not visible in the console. I also \
tried "set debug = all" from the grub shell prompt.

Is there some other way of adding the debug prints inside grub2 source?

Also I would like to know about how to debug Grub2 issue from using GDB?

My GNU GRUB version is 2.02~beta and OS is RHEL 7.4

Could anyone help on this?

Thanks
