Thanks blackdrag. Could you tell me which class adds the default map based
constructor to a groovy bean? When this is added, the instantiation works as
expected even when the field in subclass is of type Object but when a map
based constructor is added by @Canonical AST, the properties of super class
are not being set. Does the default map based constructor consider
properties in the parent class?
