I noticed that the Windows Installer for 1.6-RC-3 puts .groovy;.gy in the PATH_EXT \
environment variable. However, when I looked in my registry, I found \
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.groovy, but no HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.gy. So I created a \.gy entry \
and set it's default value to "Groovy", the same as the \.groovy entry.

And now I can run scripts that end with .gy.

Is this a bug in the installer? Should it automatically be creating the \
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.gy entry? Did I install something incorrectly?
