well... it's a bug. The "def"-keyword is new and besides an 
implementation inside the parser it has no effect for the 
classgeneration. because there was no "def" in old groovy and the 
current implementation is (besides the parser) mostly the old groovy. 
Current groovy always ignores the "def" and thinks you want to access 
the field. That's a big bug, I know.
