I'm deploying 6.0u4 on a 26-node IBM Bladecenter based cluster (arch dualproc
lx24-x86) with the head node running Redhat Advanced Server 2.1 and the nodes
running RH AS3.x

The install went fine and test jobs are running but something is odd about the
process table on the qmaster host:

[root@master sge]# ps ax | grep sge
32412 ? S 0:00 /usr/local/sge/bin/lx24-x86/sge_qmaster
32414 ? S 0:00 /usr/local/sge/bin/lx24-x86/sge_qmaster
32419 ? S 0:00 /usr/local/sge/bin/lx24-x86/sge_qmaster
32421 ? S 0:00 /usr/local/sge/bin/lx24-x86/sge_qmaster

32428 ? S 0:00 /usr/local/sge/bin/lx24-x86/sge_qmaster
32429 ? S 2:00 /usr/local/sge/bin/lx24-x86/sge_qmaster
32430 ? S 1:59 /usr/local/sge/bin/lx24-x86/sge_qmaster
32433 ? S 0:00 /usr/local/sge/bin/lx24-x86/sge_schedd
  477 pts/2 S 0:00 grep sge
[root@master sge]#

Anyone else seeing "many sge_qmaster" daemons? This occurs even after clean
shutdown and restart.

I'm at a client site without easy acesss to the web so I can't search the list
archives. Apologies if this turns out to be something obvious...

Regards,
Chris
