Nothing interesting in /var/log/messages on either the compute node or
the qmaster.  

Although, when I do a soft stop and start of the SGE daemons on the
compute node the node not be in the 'au' state for, oh, 4 or 5 minutes.
Then its au time!  All the while spewing out the READ ERROR log
messages.
