Dear all,

I'm trying to install gpsd on a CentOS machine (4.4).

The rpm install fails on a dependency:

 error: Failed dependencies:
        rtld(GNU_HASH) is needed by gpsd-2.34-1.i386

I've then tried to build the gpsd from the source and things look OK.
But then, when trying to install the clients I get:

>> rpm -Uvhi gpsd-clients-2.34-1.i386.rpm
error: Failed dependencies:
        libgps.so.16 is needed by gpsd-clients-2.34-1.i386
        rtld(GNU_HASH) is needed by gpsd-clients-2.34-1.i386

The libpgs.so.16 is present in /usr/lib though.

So I wanted to ask if anyone had been successful install gpsd on a
centos machine and if you have any idea on how to solve that rtld issue.
I couldn't find a rpm for this one.

Thanks for your time.

Regards,

Etienne.
