I am talking about the garmin kernel driver spec, which follows the
Garmin data spec. I wish I could point you to it, but a lot of
stuff from the garmin kernel driver is missing from sourceforge.
It looks like both you and Mike are on 2.6.17. I have avoided 2.6.17 due
to the NVIDIA issues. I'll try to update to 2.6.18 tonight and see if I can
duplicate this issue. If I can duplicate it then I will work on changing
the mode that the garmin/gpsd driver uses to talk to the kernel.
