that might be true (although I guess there are some GPLed apps in the store) and I \
think the FSF put it into a nutshell in their blog:

Me too and I see the following options:

1. The initial idea was to compile gnupg for the iOS (I think this is technically \
possible) and build a GUI around it. But I guess we've to find a non-GPLed OpenPGP C \
implementation instead. But is there one?

2. At lease I know an OpenPGP implementation in JavaScript that could be used for a \
very simple client (e.g. no support for POP/IMAP, MIME encoded mails, currently DSA, \
...). See [1] for details.
