Well, 'obvious' perhaps, nothing which I could fix in a few seconds though ...

But I have another crash with pm3d/X11 (well, seems we need some debugging
on this issue!!).

A segfault:
(gdb) bt

I'll fix this and about 3 similar ones which could triggered by the same mechanism.
(at a first glance; I did not analyse further. As mentioned earlier
I'd like an gplt_x11 expert to review my chnages from this week some
time ...)
