Hi folks,

The vgagl driver is finished. If you need speed, you should
give this a try.  Here's a benchmark of a gnuplot script:

 sampling    50x50, pm3d hidden3d -- 360 frames /  67 sec = 5.37 fps
 sampling  100x100, pm3d hidden3d -- 360 frames / 215 sec = 1.67 fps

at a screen resolution of 1024x768.

The vgagl driver has full mouse and pm3d support.  You
need a linux box, libvga and libvgagl. You can get it at

There's also a new pm3d option `set pm3d hidden3d <linestyle>'
which draws hidden lines at the speed of `nohidden'.
