Both dashlength and gnulinewidth are properties of the postscript 
driver (so I asked for the implementation of the latter, thanks for 
this patch!). These values are hard-coded into the postscript file. 
Thus access to them from within gnuplot is desirable 
(for me) even if there are "set" commands that change similar 
properties on terminal-independent way.
