[I apologize in advance if this a a FAQ.  I can't get to the newsgroup]

I'm pretty new to gnuplot, and I'm trying to find a way to print 'with boxes'
but in a 3-d format, similar to what an excel graph would look like.  

In this instance, I'm plotting server downtime per month, so I have around
20 boxes for each month.  I basically want to get each box slightly offset 
from the other boxes in that month so all of them are visible.

Is there a book on GnuPlot I can buy?
