Subject:    repeating a format string

How do i repeat a portion of the format string (for the data file)
instead of typing the entire string?   In other words what is the
shorthand equivalent of
plot 'test.txt' using 3:10 '%lf,%lf,%lf,%lf,%lf,%lf,%lf,%lf,%lf,%lf'
