Hi,

I want to plot a histogram in using the standard histogram style.
However, the clustered bars are not centered about the corresponding label
at the x-axis.

This is a sample code to show how I want to use it:

reset
set style data histograms
set style histogram cluster
plot '-' u 1
10
e

If I got it right, the result should be a single bar of height 10, centered
about 0 at the x-axis.
Yet the bar is not centered, but its left border is placed at 0:

So it is 0.5 * boxwidth too far to the right. If I include a second data
line, it is the same: the xtic should be exactly between the two bars, yet
it appears at the center of bar 1, so again the bars are 0.5 * boxwidth too
far to the right. This is always the case, no matter how many bars are
plotted.

Am I missing any option to get the histogram clusters centered? Or is there
a way to "move" the bars by 0.5 * boxwidth to the left?

By the way, I'm using Version 4.4 patchlevel 2 on a Fedora system.

Thanks for any hint!

Andreas
