You should enter the user id you chose when you generated your key, 
i.e. you@yourisp.com.
And be sure to choose GPG as "Encryption tool".
Oh, wait a second. I just saw that you are using KMail 1.0.28. This is 
a really old version of KMail. It doesn't support GPG. You should 
really switch to KMail 1.2 which comes with KDE 2.0(.1). Or even better 
get the Beta 2 of KDE 2.1. The KMail version included in the beta 
contains a lot new features (and better GPG support).

With KMail 1.2 you can simply attach a key to an email via a menu 
option.
With the old KMail you have to run
gpg --armor --export <you@yourisp.com> >mykey.asc
You will then get a file called mykey.asc which contains your key. To 
send the key to someone via email simply attach mykey.asc to the email.
