I got an error when compiling gpg 1.0.4 with the 1.0.4-1 patch. It crashed
on the .po files. When I copied the po files from the original 1.0.4
distribution to that directory everything worked fine.

I patched from the gnupg-1.0.4 dir with

gzip -cd gnupg-w32-1.0.4-1.0.4-1.diff.gz | patch -p1

patch did not report any errors. I compiled on a Slackware Linux 3.3 system
with kernel 2.0.38 and gcc 2.7.2.2.

I noticed one strange thing: all .po files were 10 bytes larger after
patching than before.

Any ideas what can be wrong? Some Windows/Linux EOF problem?
