In the section "Nive to Have" (TODO file) 
there is an entry about secure wiping:

PGP use for file-wiping Bob Jenkins ISAAC
random generator, which is designed to cryptographically
strong (enough for wiping !?).

GPG could use it, too ... or not?
(I dont't know, but I think the algorithm isn't patented)
