That sentence has no meaning absent a context.  "Less secure" against
what, precisely?

There are a couple of theorized instances in which AES-256 provides less
resistance to certain kinds of attacks than AES-192 and/or AES-128, but
it's a huge and unwarranted leap to go from purely theoretical
cryptanalysis to a blanket, "AES-256 is less secure than AES-192."
