I've been getting gnulib/doc/maintain.texi automatically from
<http://www.gnu.org/prep/maintain.texi>,
The original source is /gd/gnuorg on fencepost, same for standards.texi
and make-stds.texi. That's where I've been updating gnulib from.
Except I think the gnulib version got out of date somehow.
but I notice that the latter
is out of date compared to gnulib,
I hope to update it soon. (I've been saying that for months, but I did
actually make a little progress yesterday, so maybe there's hope.)
as is <http://www.gnu.org/prep/maintain_toc.html>, etc., which in
turn is linked to from several places (e.g.,
<http://www.gnu.org/software/>).
Yeah. Same deal.
I don't know how propagating changes to www.gnu.org is done but am
willing to help if my help would be useful.
Thanks, but at this point I think it's easier for me just to do it than
to try to explain it. I need to generate the new versions with
gendocs.sh and link the old numeric files.
It's been a long process. Sysadmin gave control of /prep to GNU
webmasters (of which I am one, sort of, at least I have write access to
the www cvs :), and now I need to get things updated again and
re-automate it.
Thanks,
karl
