Happy new year!
GNU Gengetopt 2.19 has been released. It is available from
ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/gengetopt/ and mirrors of that site (see list of
mirror sites at http://www.gnu.org/order/ftp.html).
GNU Gengetopt generates a C function that uses getopt_long function
to parse the command line options, validate them and fill a
struct.
Version 2.19
* strings can spawn more than one line and contain escaped "
* usage string can be specified (instead of being generated
automatically).
* description string can be specified that will be printed after the
usage string.
* automatically created usage strings are wrapped.
* with --long-help the optional options are correctly printed between []
* --show-required, to explicitly print in the help output whether an
option is mandatory
* configuration files can include other configuration files
(thanks to David Bird)
* --no-handle-help handles also --full-help (thanks to Gyozo Papp)
