hi everyone,
I've compiled the latest gnome in my home directory. I'd like to move it to
another location so that others can access it as well. I've been trying to
copy everything that I have in my private directory to the site directory, and
point my $PATH and $LD_LIBRARY_PATH appropriately. It doesn't seem to work.
I've been searching through the mailing list and the only resources I could
find it about relocating RPMs. I wonder if anyone has done anything similar
before?
any help will be greatly appreciated.
ps/ It's the last option to compile everything again and set the prefix to the
site directory. The compilation process is slow on this lab machine...
Walt
