I've had several situations while logged in as user an occasion would
arise when I wanted to maneuver around in the superuser files with a
Gnome application and wasn't allowed, because of my user privileges in
my administration working account. Prior to this, I would "su -" into
a superuser shell in Gnome and run any non-Gnome application (for
example: mc) in the shell and have superuser privileges. What is the
remedy to give a user account superuser privileges to a Gnome
application?
