This is quite alarming, in particular as GCC itself depends on GMP.

Are the problems you've seen limited to sparc systems, or have you also
seen failures with other processors?

Where does the failure happen, I mean which GMP tests fail?

GCC 4.3.2 miscompiles a GMP file, apparently for all 64-bit targets, and
can thus not be used for compiling GMP.  It would be bad if there is
another release that has such bugs.
