Hi,

The Gluster community is pleased to announce the release of Gluster
5.8 (packages available at [1]).

Release notes for the release can be found at [2].

Major changes, features and limitations addressed in this release:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/1728988 was an issue blocking the build.

NOTE: The 5.7 was dead on release.
