Hello,

During libstdc++-2.90.6 "make check" the following command:

g++ -g -O2 -DDEBUG_ASSERT  \
    -static \
    -I../libstdc++-2.90.6/std \
    -I../libstdc++-2.90.6 \
    -I../libstdc++-2.90.6/stl \
    -I../libstdc++-2.90.6/libio \
    -I. \
    -L./src/.libs \
    ../libstdc++-2.90.6/testsuite/17_intro/header_fstream.cc \
    -o /usr/src/libstdc-build/testsuite/header_fstream.st-exe

produces the following error:

/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i586-pc-linux-gnu/2.95.1/libgcc.a(_eh.o): In function
`__eh_rtime_match':
/usr/src/gcc-build/gcc/../../gcc-2.95.1/gcc/libgcc2.c(.text+0x52c):
undefined reference to `_IO_stderr_'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

on Linux kernel 2.0.36 with gcc 2.95.1 and glibc-2.1.1

How come? How to fix? Thanks.

Best Regards
