Your proposal is not an option (for example the printer driver add-on is 
allowed to be loaded multiple times by the same application; and usually
keeps loaded for a short time only), but I can for sure implement a 
workaround, I just had hoped to avoid that or at least postpone it. 

Please do not invest any effort in the implementation of such a clean up 
function, if it would be just for my use case.
