Yes, I think so too.

It's a known problem that I've been unable to reproduce here - and only 
happens when there's no default.preset file.

Is there any chance you could run a Valgrind test?  That might help me.

I can send you a default.preset file as a workaround, but that doesn't 
help me find or fix the problem!
