   These diffs are against escp2-papers.c.

One file is my file (the first argument to diff) and the second argument is a
version of escp2-papers.c I got out of CVS maybe 90 minutes ago.

The comments are in there for my sake, they were not part of the original
source, but it made it easier for me to keep track of what I was doing, so
   for instance:

   ! { "GlossyPhoto" /* name */, 0.82 /* base_density */ , 1 /*
   subchannel_cutoff */ , 1 /* k_transition */ , .02 /* k_lower */ , 1.4 /*
   k_upper */ , .900 /* cyan */, 0.600 /* magenta */, .080 /* yellow */, 1 /*
   black */, 1 /* saturation */, 0.88 /* gamma */,

   Is really the same as:

   ! { "GlossyPhoto" , 0.82, 1, 1, .02, 1.4, .900, 0.600, .080, 1, 1, 0.88,

I've included a version of the patch without the comments

The comments break attempts to automatically apply the patch. Thanks
for the fixed patch.
