How about providing a "Profiled" equivalent to "Manual Control" which
would fix the controls in a fixed set (highest quality presumably),
only allowing changing parameters for which different profiles might
be potentially available e.g. colour model, media type, resolution (as
supported by CUPS), or which do not impact colour management
(e.g. media size)
