When I select ops from the image menu the toolkit keeps the server grabbed
(complete with alternate pointer) until the operation completes and GIMP
returns to the main loop.  If this is a lenghty operation it's annoying to
be unable to do something else.

I'm slightly downrev, gtk-1.0.0 and gimp 0.99.31.
