I suppose that's probably a better option that using two valuatore.
One drawback remains; the app has to reconnect the two values. I
suppose that's a configuration issue.

I thought of that, but it's probably not good. I read some gii docs
stating that you had to be prepared for values outside the given
valuator range. I therefore consider that path closed due to backward
compatibility reasons.

Oh, it's not a separate device. On this link the POV is the top center
knob of the four knobs on the top of the stick.

They typically control which way you are viewing or similar function.

In the example above with an 8-way POV, the user can only give
one of - you guessed it - eight angles.
