We have a gadzoox switch so I think my only option now is to run
a null stomith.

Can you comment on my idea to mount gfs file systems read/write
on only one host and read only on all other hosts? Or maybe
mount on only one host while we are writing. We stuff data
periodically to disk but mostly we just read it and we can take
down time for mounting and remounting.

I could do a stomith for the gadzoox switch but it sounds llike that is not a
good idea long term?

Thanks again for the quick response on my failure to run two lockservers
with two file systems.

One other suggestion for the how to. I missed the fact that the
mkfs_gfs -j option; i.e. the number of journals, is the number of
hosts that will mount the FS.
