Greetings,

getmail version 2.3.8 has been released and is available for download
at the usual place:
http://www.qcc.ca/~charlesc/software/getmail-2.0/

Changes since the previous version include:

Version 2.3.8
7 June 2002

  -bugfix:  commandline options were not always overriding options specified
  in the getmailrc file.  Thanks to Melanie Büsing for the bug report which
  got me looking at this, and Ruprecht Helms for a similar report which 
  helped me track down the cause.
  -slight changes to exception handling and error message formatting.
