Heh--I'm sure it was a mistype--IIRC (could be wrong about it) a dhcp
server has to be installed from portage.  I've mistyped dhcpd when I
meant to type dhcpcd more times than I can remember.

Interesting thought though---Wonder which subnet is configured by
default.  :)

Could annoy the users a bit--which does remind me--once, manually
configuring a FreeBSD server I mistyped--their leases were running out
every ten minutes which caused some serious problems when I had to take
it offline for a few minutes. Suddenly, I was getting a bunch of
calls--due to the timing of the calls and problem, I knew it had to do
with the server.  Put it back on line thinking, hrrm, that's strange
that everyone had their lease run out at the same time, and looked at
the config file.  Hrrm, says I, I don't think I meant to type 600 for
length of lease.   :)
