Hello,

  I've recently run into a problem with KDM that's somewhat annoying...a while 
ago, I upgraded to KDE 3.1rc3, but didn't notice the problem until recently, 
thanks to Linux's stability -- until I rebooted my computer, everything 
worked fine.  Once I had done that, however, KDM was unable to load any 
window manager, for any user!  No matter what combination of user and WM I 
selected, KDM would blank the screen, the monitor would switch resolutions a 
couple times (with the usual *click* noises), then it would dump me back to 
KDM.  Has anyone seen this problem before?  And if not...what log files or 
/etc files should I start looking at to diagnose this problem?  Thanks!
