Hi,

After a fresh install of gentoo 1.2 on my machine tonight and discovered that \
battle.net works with winex 2.01 but after I have emerged:

The gimp, xmms, psi, sylpheed and eterm

Starcraft will then crash when I try to connect to battle.net
LAN will still work however as normal

It seems strange that one or more out of those programs should stop battle.net from \
working at all.. it might be one of them or one of their many dependencies, whichever \
would take forever for me to find out :(

Can anyone help me solve this?
