hello,

    I have a Netra T4/20 server with an 750Mhz UltraSPARC III processor 
and I would like it to run Linux.
    The current problem is that the kernel fails on the LOM card because 
it has different descriptors than expected. The main problem I am facing 
is that I cannot compile a kernel for this machine nor get one running, 
it doesn't run any distribution at all. I would like to ask for a 
bootable iso with a small kernel patch applied (which skips the LOM card 
initialization). I am aware this is probably a lot of work, but I see no 
other solution except crosscompiling one. The support I would need for 
that would most likely be more work. I am willing to try though.
    To solve the problems with the kernel itself, I am getting help from 
Eric Brower (who wrote http://www.ultralinux.org/CP1X00.html ).
