This is sort of a poll and a request for testing, as follows:

As background: in my opinion, if you want a graphics toolkit for
dev-lang/ruby, the combination [fox+fxscintilla+fxruby] makes a much
more convenient ("ruby-ish") package than [ruby+tk]. And, if you are
interested in FREERide, you need the fox+... set in any event.

1. Currently, sparc is running the fox toolkit at 1.0.43, but the
toolkit itself is at 1.0.49 for [x86, ~sparc]. I'd like up mark
1.0.49 stable for sparc, but since it is an X-toolkit, I'd also like
to know if anyone is using it, and if so, whether they have tried
1.0.49. (I use it only with ruby, but it's a general X11 toolkit).

2. fxscintilla is ~[all-archs], but it's been stable for me forever
on sparc (but not from Gentoo, which has had it only for about 6 months).
I'd like to mark it stable for sparc (even though foser would not
approve).

3. fxruby is problematic. I'd like to mark it stable, but for Gentoo,
it's at release 1.0.28, which is old news. fxruby should be at 1.0.29;
I'll probably discuss this with twp (the package owner).

Absent screams, I'll pursue this course. Feedback requested.

Regards,
Ferris
