The later 2.4.x series of kernels (2.4.24 for example) have seperated the
dangerous DMA modes out for the Blade 100 IDE controller so you have
explicitly enable the dangerous modes.  To be safe though, you may want to
passs the "ide=nodma" argument to your kernel at boot time.
