On hardened laptop's and various other hard-drive encryption methods.
Over the last week or so this thread has grown a bit and various people
have proposed various solutions. The Gentoo-Hardened Project would like
to invite you to participate in making these solutions become a reality.

Goals for an implementation of hardened laptops.

*) Needs to work for 2.4.x & 2.6.x
*) We would like them to have is an automated method of doing this from
the live-cd
*) Need Gentoo HOWTO / instructions written.
*) The storage medium should be abstracted.
usb, stick memory, floppy, cd, etc.. any of those should be able to
store the keys
*) Solution must pass public critique process. eg: win the approval of
this list.
*) Talk is cheap so show us the code.
