Hi all,

As neysx already kindly pointed out to me on IRC, the draft version of the
Gentoo Handbook has been altered to great extend. This is due to some changes
from releng which, once you read them, you'll cheerfull accept :)

First of all, the x86 and ppc CD-1 of the 2-CD LiveCD set will be generic
(i.e. not optimized for a particular subarchitecture). It will contain a
stage1 and various stage3 files. Also, the first CD will not contain any
prebuilt packages, making the GRP-instructions during the installation
obsolete. Only the instructions at the end of the installation are valid in
this case.

Even though this looks like a minor change, documentation-wise it is rather
big. Not revolutionary - just moving around some information - but large
enough to put out a *sigh* if you're a translator :)

Wkr,
	Sven Vermeulen
