Here is my ranked list.

1. chrony: Seems to be the most flexible for systems that are not on 24/7.
2. ntpd: Reference implementation, and works pretty well for me.
3. openntpd: At a glance, the Linux port seems to be a little out of
date. On the other hand, NTP really doesn't change all that much.

An alternative to actively making a decision here would be to simply
give them all the same "priority". This would make effectively give
preference to the ones which sort first based on their name, and would
actually yield the same list I gave above. ^_^
