Enforcing policy is all well and good, but let's all try not to act like
robots. In the end it is the intent of the policy that is more important
than its letter and we as intelligent human beings should try to use
some discretion when following or enforcing the policies. The policies
are the guidelines that point us in the right direction, but sometimes
we have to deviate from their path to circumnavigate some obstacle and
that's alright. Let's all try to relax a bit and assume other people
also might have a clue as to what they're doing.

Common sense might be hard to come by in the general populace, but
surely it is less rare in our developers (and users).
