And? What the difference? For the P-t-P connection, there is not
difference.  There is only one destination, you can send the packets to:
the ppp-server on the other side.

Only for normal network-connections (eth0, ...), you have to tell the
kernel, which host in the subnet he has to send the packets to, because
usually there are many of them.
