| Hi,
|
| I've got a problem where I don't really know what to do:
| Today I wanted to update libchipcard to the latest version (1.9.9_beta).
| The story about libchipcard: There is the old libchipcard (0.9.x) and
the new
| one, which was splitted in two packages (server and client) till the last
| version. The new version is now again one package.
|
| What I did was adding
| move sys-libs/chipcard-client sys-libs/libchipcard
| move sys-libs/chipcard-server sys-libs/libchipcard
| to the updates, slottet the old libchipcard with SLOT="1" and the new
with
| SLOT="2".
|
| But now, after the update, it doesn't clean up the old chipcard-client
and
| chipcard-server-versions, because they are both SLOT="0".
|
| What's the correct way to handle this?

Are you aware that the updates files can also handle slotmove? Take a
look at 4Q-2004 for an example.
