Just wanted to say something about the docs at =
http://www.gentoo.org/doc/build.html. In the section on setting up the =
/etc/fstab file: Your example shows the line:
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
This line would not work for me until I made it:
none /proc proc defaults 0 0
Is there something else going on, or is the example incorrect? Poor =
newbie's like myself can (and just did) spend hours trying to figure out =
why /proc wouldn't come up properly.
Other than the above, the documentation is great. System seems like an =
answered prayer for someone wanting to leave the pre-configured, RPM-ish =
distros behind.
