please don't attach an image to your emails to this group.

To Carsten, Chris, Justin, Taka and Arron - thanks. Your mails in total are
way bigger than the original 'problem' message - and Chris and Justin's
bigger than the original on their own.

All your whinging and whining about HTML (what *is* the problem there, allow
your reader to choose whether you display it or not) and his signature has
now made the mail servers, everyone's inbox and all the bandwidth involved
far more full than a simple "Your script seems OK, but you may find the
forums at http://forums.devshed.com/ a better place to discuss your Perl
script. BTW please don't attach an image to your emails to this group" would
have done...

It's nearly 2006, haven't we got past the point where a 12K semi-relevant
email is still a problem? Hit delete, relax, move on. If bandwidth is really
such an issue, use IMAP, hit delete, relax and move on.
