Glad I could help, and thanks for reporting the culprit!

That sort of automatic-action thing seriously bothers me (whether or not
I'm the victim at the time), because as they say, "It just ain't natural!"
=8^) Tracing it to a single application seriously eases the frustration,
because at least then there's something to point to and say /this/ is the
culprit, even if it's something I want to continue to use.  At least then,
there's a known cause, not something violating my nice logical cause and
effect world of computing!  <g>  So... yeah, glad /one/ mystery has been
laid to rest, and thanks for reporting it.

Guess you have something else now, to try wiping the config on...
